Taking the time to slow down, learning how to feel and 'listen' to the different energies and qualities of the 7 main Chakra centres.
During this workshop, Julie will facilitate an exploration of the 7 main chakra centres of the body through theory, gentle asana practice, mantra, and breath. Start to feel and have a greater understanding of how our Chakras can contribute to our lives on many different levels, how excesses or imbalances can affect us and hold us back from our potential. This workshop will also include a chakra clearing meditation and intention-setting Yoga Nidra session. You will leave feeling deeply relaxed and refreshed, with new knowledge and awareness of your body and its energy.

Rest Revolution Retreat, Bethlehem Centre January 2016
After a hectic Christmas season, one of the greatest gifts I was given was a day of self-care spent with Yoga Therapist Julie Horwood. From the wonderful venue on the lake to the nourishing food for the soul, Jules led us through restorative yoga poses with lots of props for tired bodies.
